Head Injury:
Tom was nice enough to send me his story and photo from his SUP accident. Tom was out surfing in Carlsbad and got snaked by a novice SUP surfer that could not control his GIANT SUP surfboard. When the SUP tried to pull out of Tom's wave his SUP board got stuck in the lip and launched right into toms head. Tom tells me he feels lucky to have his eye. We need to designate the SUP's as paddle craft and ban them from surf zones.
This is just terrible, what can we do to change this?, These SUP's are really scary
ReplyDeleteWell, we can urge the state of California to classify them as what they are BOATS and ban them from surf zones at all state beaches. them maybe the city beaches will follow.
